The Servicing Process
1. Initial Diagnosis
It is vital that we diagnose any faults with your machine, and most importantly determine whether it is cost effective to repair, before we start work. If it is not, we will inform you and the service cost will be reduced.

2. Clean and Cleanse
Your machine will go through an intense clean inside and out. We will ensure that vital connections are free from any previous syrup leaks, and that any dust is blown out and grease removed. We will also straighten out any bent fins to the condenser.

3. Repair
It is at this stage we will repair any faults with your machine; this may include replacement of some parts. We will contact you to confirm any parts that require replacement before proceeding, unless you have pre-authorised specific items.

4. Reassembly
We will now piece your machine back together exactly how it will have been done in the factory.

5. Testing
Your machine will now go through 2-3 days of constant testing and checks with slush product to ensure everything is as it should be.

6. Final Clean
Your machine is nearly done! A final clean is carried out to ensure any slush residue from testing is removed. Your machine is now ready to returned back to you.
Common Repairs We Carry Out
So your machine has stopped working, and is now losing you money every day it is out of action…but what’s wrong with it?
We carry out a full diagnosis, as well as many different types of repairs on slush machines; some are more involved than others but do not worry, this is all incorporated into the service cost. Please see below some of the common repairs we carry out:
- Programme control boards
- Replace broken evaporator supports
- Replace broken base plates
- Replace solenoids
- Repair or replace gear motors
- Replace broken bowls
- Replace broken spirals or augers
- Repair damaged frames
- Rewire faulty electrics
- Replace faulty switches & relays
- Rewire or remove light lids
- Repair syrup leaks
Whilst we are able to pressure test your machine, we are unable to re-gas them. If the machine has a gas-related issue, or should your machine be uneconomical to repair in any other way, we only charge a diagnosis fee of £125+VAT, plus any collection/drop off costs.
How to safely leave your machine on overnight
A lot of repairs we carry out are due to slush machines being incorrectly left off or in the wrong mode overnight. This video will explain what settings to use to ensure your machine will be up and running the next day!

The most likely problem is that the thickness screw tightening the spring on the motor has been turned up too much. The simple solution is to loosen off the screw. On most machines, this is achieved by turning the screw clockwise, on the Ugolini it is anticlockwise.
